چکیده

This paper examines performance issues concerning local public, educational and government (PEG) access channels. The study is based on a survey of cable subscribers in a major metropolitan market. The ®ndings suggest that community access channels compare favorably with many satellite-delivered channels, though viewership is not strongly related to the use of other media. Open-ended responses suggest that meetings are the most commonly viewed access fare, followed by sports programming. # 1998 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
